‘Ninja Scroll’ was one of the first anime movies I’d ever seen and instanlty I was amazed. For a animie that was released in 1993, it still holds up today and is, in my opinion, one of the best anime’s ever.

For years, fans have been clamoring for a sequel. Our dreams almost came true in 2012, when the creator Yoshiaki Kawajiri created a teaser trailer to get funding for the sequel.

Unfortunately, since the first movie was not as successful in Japan as it was in the US, no Japanese studios would fund the project.

There was a glimmer of hope back in 2014, but there hasn’t been any news since then.

I’m hoping someone can start an online campaign for Netflix or another streaming service to grab the rights and fund the sequel.
