Stealth Optional is reporting, based on a rumor from renowned leaker Daniel Richtman , “…NetherRealm Studios is working on a Marvel fighting game for next-gen consoles. Details are incredibly sparse on this latest leak, but Richtman does state that the game is already in production at the studio.“

If true, that would be awesome. So I got to thinking, what characters would be best or who would I like to see in an ‘Injustice’ type fighting game based on Marvel characters. Besides the obvious choices like Captain America, Thor, Ironman, Hulk, and Spider-Man, who would be more deserving. Of course, they can’t fit EVERY character into the game unless the game is a huge hit and they have 2-3 years’ worth of DLC.

So, I’ll keep the initial roster at 20 charcaters upon release.

The release roster would include Captain America (Steve Rogers), Thor Odinson, Hulk (Bruce Banner), Spider-Man (Peter Parker), Ironman (Tony Stark), Green Goblin (Norman Osborne), Venom (Eddie Brock), Carnage (Cletus Cassidy), Rogue, Storm, She-Hulk, Wolverine, Sue Richards, Deadpool, Sentry, Blade, Thanos, Misty Knight, Shang-Chi, Groot.
