HALLOWEEN KILLS (THE FRANCHISE) Review

Give me a moment…

One second…let me gather my thoughts…

Just have to think about a few things…

Okay…

Seriously though. The move seemed like a disjointed mess. Halloween Kills has the same writers from the first movie. For this installment, it’s like they took turns blindly writing the script. Each taking a turn adding a line, but not reading what was added by the person before, and then handed this pumpkin-shaped turd to the director and then quarantined themselves for 2 years.

Like, they started off so strong with Halloween 2018 to just turn around and drop a Jason X on us.

What should have been an awesome movie based on the premise turned into a fan-service circle jerk with no clear path as far as the story is concerned. I’m all for nostalgia, callbacks, and a bit of fan service, but when it’s heavy-handed and in your face, it comes off as contrived.

It was cool to get the old characters that survived the original movie, but once they were introduced I gave zero fucks about them. Not a single fuck to give…like I looked around but couldn’t find a fuck.

I’m just going to leave it here for now. Holla at me on Facebook or ask a questions in the comment sections below.
