EA has officially announced that Lamar Jackson will be on the cover of Madden 2021.

While some may think this is good news, others like myself can only think of one thing – THE MADDEN CURSE! The majority of the players who have graced the cover Madden went on to have lack-luster seasons or had their season ended prematurely due to injury.

There have been a handful of players to actually break the curse with the most recent being Patrick Mahomes who went on to win the Super Bowl after he graced the Madden 20 cover.
