This month was the best tournament we’ve had since we started. A lot of heavy hitters came out to compete today. Our regulars, Manny, Max, Jaylin, Jayden, Matt, and Jamar came to play this month. We also had some newcomers that showed that there is plenty of Fortnite talent in the region. Shawn, Jacob, Jude, and Kyrie were first-timers and proved that they belonged in the conversation with our champs.

Newcomer Kyrie took the title in the non-cash tournament and cemented his name on our champion board in his first visit to MAP Technologies. Kyrie accumulated 9 points. No one else was able to get close to him. Congrats Kyrie!
The cash tournament brought out the best in all our competitors and there were a couple upsets.
Shawn our youngest competitor, who is 7 years old by the way, obliterated his competition. Beating his first two opponents 3-0. He even made an amazing kill where he did a complete 360 while dropping down on his opponent before destroying. However, finally met his defeat by the two-time champ Jaylin. Jaylin did not hesitate to swiftly take out Shawn in a quick 3-0 win. Much props to Shawn who proved age ain’t nothing but a number. He was the youngest competitor in the tournament and after his first 3-0 victory was in the running as one of the favorites to win.
The final 4 came down to Shawn v Jaylin and brothers Max v Manny. While Jaylin ran through Shawn without breaking a sweat the Battle of the Brothers was a hard-fought fight with Manny coming through as the victor.
The final match came down to two former champions, Jaylin and Manny. Both competitors put up a good fight, but Jaylin came out as the victor.
