Folks online are making jokes about this man looting LEGO, but fail to realize he’s probably the smartest person in that store. What he’s looting is more than likely more valuable than anything else in that store.
I’m a LEGO collector and what I have learned over that year is that LEGO sets have ALWAYS increased in value and/or retained their value. So much so that LEGO has and is still being used as a global currency on the black market and has been used in money laundering schemes.
China even has a whole secondary market for bootleg LEGO sets. They look just like the official sets but of course they are manufactrued by a different company.
Investing in LEGO gives a better ROI than gold even.
