This isn’t going to be a full-blown review simply because the movie is great and you need to watch it now!

Finally, a decent ‘Predator’ since the original Predator. PREY a pleasent surprise as I didn’t expect much from this movie. For me, the movie ranks as the 2nd best Predator movie. The 3rd being Predator 2 and Predators is a distant 4th. The AVP movies don’t even exist in my world as those movies are complete crap. Oh yeah, forgot about “The Predator”…a complete dumpster fire!!!

Amber Midthunder who plays Naru the protaganist is amazing in her role.

PREY is pretty straight forward in it’s premise of a Predator coming to Earth to hunt. The plot plays out similar to the orginal movie, but does enough to stand on its own without having to depend to much on the movies that came before it. You don’t need to have watched the previous Predator movies to understand what is going on in PREY, but it does help. The homages to the previous movies are subtle and make sense within the context of the plot. There’s plently of fan service, but its not forced. I especially got excited when I saw the a certain pistol that was given to Danny Glover’s character at the end of Predator 2.

I love the attention to detail in the movie. You could tell the people that put this together really gave a damn about making a good movie.

I want to add, this movie has the most badass Predator to date.

I highly recommend watching it!
